By the way a returning bird has arrived to Asturias (Avilés). The 6º winter visiting Zeluán Estuary. (Daniel lópez Velasco).
Looks this is "Cachinnans time" here in N Spain.....

On 14.10.2012 my friend Daniel Velasco saw this gull. A really nice candidate for atlantis . And truly similar to magnus bird.

Hi All : yesterday 29.10.2012 at Pantín beach, Valdoviño, A Coruña, NW Spain (43º38´20´´N – 08º07´04´´W) . Bigger than Argenteus. Looks like a nominal argentatus (With some whitish feathers).
