Odd Larus
Hello,
stunning gull at Alcazar landfill, yesterday.
At first glance, it looks an odd LBBG or YLG.
Features unmatch Larus fuscus: inner primary pattern, white underwing, small size.
What do you think?
Thanks!

micha x cachinnans?
Hi dudes,
a bunch of photos from varna Lake, Bulgaria, by Dimiter Georgiev. I'm wondering this could be a nice hybrid michahellis x cachinnans.
Cheers!

Re: Still in the Caspian game
Hi Lou!
Of course, I will send you the pics. Also whatever you want from my photo set.
I use to go to Varna to see some Bulgarian friends, and explore the urban beaches and the outskirts of town. I'm going again in 20 days!
Cheers and happy new year full of gulls!

Still in the Caspian game
Hi all, another funny bird from Alcazar landfill. This time a 1cy. I'd like to know your first impressions about this beauty. I've seen very similar dark morph Caspian Gulls in Bulgaria. c3.jpg c1.jpg c4.jpg c6.jpg c5.jpg c7.jpg c8.jpg c010.jpg Interestingly, I could hear its voice once, and it was ...

2cy Caspian?
Hi there,
this bird was photographed just a couple of hours ago, at Alcazar de San Juan landfill, Spain.
IMO looks like a 2cy Caspian Gull Larus cachinnans, but further opinions welcomed.
Thanx for your comments! Happy Christmas dudes!

Re: cachinnans?
Hi Kent, take a look at these pictures in Varna, Bulgaria, only a few days ago.
For me is a pure cachinnans, maybe not a typical for "Identification guide" but anyway, cachi.
Regards
Gabi

Re: Larus armenicus
Mars, I write you offering to collaborate with my pictures and info to illustrate taxons like lusitanius, michahellis in Spain and cachinnans in Bulgaria.
And, of course, tons of pictures of wintering LBBG.
Cheers!
