A ringed Herring Gull in Marocco without photo is difficult to believe. The Danish Ring Atlas shows also recoveries in Southern Marocco and at the Canaries, but this smells for me more to LBBG (ringed as chick in mixed colonies).

Thayeri-pattern is quite common in Caspian Gulls. The iris can be paler, but this is in the most cases not similar to the "snake-eyes" of the most adult Herrings.

I cannot see any features of an "Eastern" specimen. Why doesn`t be a late hatched michahellis? Note also tail-band, bill-shape and tertials.
