Today again to Katwijk, with Frank van der Meer. After heavy storm last week and beaching of ensis on our coast we have plenty gulls. Its fall again, with over 1000 juveniles gathering in large resting flocks. They take over from the adults now, and include Herrings, Lesser Black-backeds and occasionally Great Black-backed, and single Caspian and Yellow-legged Gulls. Some ringed birds
- tibia is local from my area, Katwijk,
- blue from Denmark
- green from Texel (ringed as adult male).

Yesterday we had our son's 6th birthday, some drinks, etc. So today I took some time and I took some bread to spend an hour between the gulls at Katwijk beach.

Today again to Katwijk, despite an Arctic Warbler hanging around together with a Long-legged Buzzard, a group of 24 Ibisses and a Rufous-tailed Warbler. Lucky me saw another ringed LBBG, again a notched bird.
