The weather was really bullocks, we left the light on in house all day, but I felt I had to go out anyway. So sorry, not the best of pictures due to dark weather. And of course you'll find yourself in nice group, confident birds, foreign rings but as we had hard wind, they just did not turn at all and I could only read part of the codes after all. How frustrating...

There was also a very noisy 1CY cach and even the cormorants were interested in bread!?

hi mars,

maybe the dark weather provided that your photos all show birds without stronglit portions - they are a real joy. the one with the replaced inner greater coverts (hg1cy_7140) - is that happening in less than 1% in herring gull? i know some coverts can be replaced.

offtopic: recently i met a woman from noordwijk who visited brouwersdam during a weekend ornith. group-excursion and she told me you are neighbors? don't remember her name. i told her best greets for you if you meet...
there was only one tame tatus that i managed to photogr. and the pic is like that - too much light. brouwersdam, a retarded (prob. weak) 2cy at that time (28.12.)
