Belarus

Dmitry, please feel welcome to the forum. As you live in an interesting place, also very interesting for gulls, I have created a "local patch" Belarus. Hope to see many pictures from your country and I also hope we can somehow cooperate to get birds ringed and measured in your colonies. I guess many people from western and central Europe are very curious what exactly is going on in such mixed colonies of cachinnans and argentatus, even more so now you started posting pictures of what seems to be breeding adults from the Lesser Black-backed group... Some may think "what a mess", others may say "now we're talking!". Especially combinations of pictures with the same bird both standing and with raised wings / flying are very welcome to discussions. It could be we cannot label all birds, but at least we get a picture of the variation and difficulties.

A "Lausitz-gull "was found breeding in Belarus.

Paired with a cachinnans at a flat roof-top near Minsk. Bad photos exist, seems to be a cach x arg- hybrid.
