Re: Italy, possible Heuglin's Gull 1stW ?
The fresh almost juvenile plumage in Nov. suggest a northern gull, which would exclude michahellis.
A northern argentatus could be a possibility but the long wings seems not so good for that species. We are left with a possible graellsii/intermedius, Baltic fuscus or heuglini.
Location would suggest Baltic fuscus or heuglini. However, due to wellknown difficulties I for one wouldn´t identify this gull from these pic. as to ssp, could be either I guess.
