Hi All :
yesterday 29.10.2012 at Pantín beach, Valdoviño, A Coruña, NW Spain (43º38´20´´N – 08º07´04´´W) .
Bigger than Argenteus. Looks like a nominal argentatus (With some whitish feathers). Exposed Primaries looks too greyish. But I have no sufficient experiencie with "tatus".
Any comment about this odd bird?.

Hi Antonio,
To me it looks like a lucistic argentatus, probably a male. Some males are big.
I have caught and ringed male taus in southern norway, with size and weight well over a middelsized female GBBGull.
