hello,

a strongly striated male type cach has been obs. in western romanian plains (near ARAD), some record shots have been made by luca dehelean, described by szilard daroczi. they suspected it to be an argentatus with this "hooded appeareance".
i'm posting these as i'd like to ask if anybody has seen cachs looking this strongly striated. on neck sides there even where some larger blotches, of course concentration into a shawl at the rear of the neck. apical spots large for cachinnans. but in all other aspects a quite unambigous cach, have a look:
