Hi there,
I've recently had a very small black-head on my local patch, found by a fellow birder - not much bigger than a little gull. I read that one has been recorded before (Gulls of Europe, Asia and North America) but I was wondering how frequently they occur as I've never seen one like this before and I've been birding for over 30 years.
I've got a couple of pics on my blog, taken at some distance with a Canon SX50 but the size can be seen when compared to other black-heads behind the individual in question: http://threecountieswildlife.blogspot.c ... -head.html
