Leucistic & pink Black-headed Gull

Post by little-W » Tue Nov 02, 2010 7:06 pm

Saw this individual in Leiden, The Netherlands today.
It showed white scapulars, white tertial #3 (on both sides) and a white gc #2 (right side only). It also had pink colouration to the body, as well as pink shafts of the outer three primaries which I found unusual.
(The pink colouration doesn't come across well on the photos...)
