Well, the not so contrasting patterns in the coverts, the greater coverts pattern, the large eye, the jizz, the shortish legs.
The head is not pure white. Standing it missed the hanging backside of the body and the wings were not that long too.

But surely there is cachinnans in it!!

I have no any problem to identify it as Caspian Gull.

I tend to agree with Ronald. Greater coverts in this age class (at this time of year) with slightly varaible greater covert pattern. Here´s another one of the same individual: http://waarneming.nl/foto/view/4400801

Dear Theo,
unfortunately, this gull is not ringed in Belarus. Only metal and plastic rings of red color with symbols: KNxx, KHxx, KExx, K7xx, K8xx, K9xx were used in ringing of the complex "argentatus-cachinnans" in Belarus. Yellow plastic rings here weren't applied and I didn't meet L2L2.
I hope for a rendezvous in the spring with this young and fine Caspian Gull on the roof of skinnery plant! But the probability is great that the gull will give preference to a natural environment.
Dmitry
