2 cy Smith look-alike, Iceland

This Smith lookalike was identified by Peter Adriaens as an European herring gull with glaucous genes, as it does have paler secondaries distalt and more streaked underparts compared to "classical" american herring gulls. It has though heavily streaked upper and under tailed coverts and farily black tail. I found this gull in my local birding spot in the Reykjavík area on the 7-8th of January 2016.
