2or 3cy look-alike, Iceland

Ómar Runólfsson photographed this herring gull, which is either 2 or 3cy on the 1st of November in Sandgerði, SW-Iceland. Aging of this individual is difficult. The inner primaries ciyld be either 2nd or 3rd generation whereas the primaries could be of 3rd generation. It has quite smooth underparts. If it is 3CY, then it a herring gull with so much black in the tail feathers and ion the secondaries is likely is likely to be a american herring gull.
