Severe Spanish impact on the site!

Post by marsmuusse » Fri Feb 18, 2011 10:10 am

Thanks to The Fab Four / The Madrid Gull Team, and of course also the "Wizard of Coruña", we could update the 2cy graellsii-intermedius page for January - April with about 100 ringed birds. And I have to say, that looks just great! Last week, I also added quite some 1cy birds, just check those sections 1cy September - December.
Well done guys, muchos gracias, and updates for the other plumages will follow soon. Hasta luego.

some small points: the link to blue J8NZ goes to J824 http://www.gull-research.org/lbbg1cy/lbbg1cynovdec.html
; yellow E is a 1cy, not 2cy as stated above in the header http://www.gull-research.org/delfin1/eyellow1cydec.html.

Many thanks to people who shared pictures, especially Maarten van Kleinwee (Holland) & Delfín González (Spain) for the links of another 75 ringed LBBG.

Its hard to pick out my favorite from this set, asLBBG really are magnificent birds. However, if I need to, E800 was a bird from our 2004 pullus project to determine post-juvenile moult in very young fledlings, and it is good to see them grown up now. We checked the colony on a daily base almost, following birds intensily, and this one still is a bit grummy:
