Some Yellow-legged Gulls in Bucharest, November 1st

Nice pictures, thanks for posting! What's with the innermost primary in the left wing of the 2cy at the bottom?!

I see that Cristian has posted some larger images of his michahellis which I posted yesterday. These are the three first here. As Ruud, I noticed the innermost primary. Could it be a fully grown p1 (difficult to see the state of it), with p2 shed, or are there some other explanation?

As the pattern seems to be asymmetrical (P1-2 of the right wing look normal and brown), the most logical explanation is perhaps that P1(-2) of the left wing was damaged and had to be replaced.

What Peter noticed in the other wing I didn´t. So he´s explanation seems correct.
