For about three weeks now, construction works are going on at Scheveningen beach. From 15 km out of the coast, sand is transported through pipes and added on the coastline. The level has to increase over two meters. 1.000's of gulls gather for the meal. Rings included birds from the U.K., Danmark, Finland, Norway, Belgium and of course the Netherlands.

Best bird today (for our region) was a 3cy LBBG with Danish ring V454 blue. Also a picture of MJAG blue, from Belgium.

Nice to see that V454 still are alive and well . This picture is from Enghaveparken in Copenhagen 18.11.08 some days after it was ringed .
