Maarten, that green rings read XTAV and it's not ringed by Kees (it's also ringed in 2010 of course). Maybe it's German? Ronald used an Xxxx series for Herring in E Germany, maybe he knows more.

Ruud, the strange thing is I read XTAV (see the photo), but Kees reported the bird as K.TAV, which is very similar in the field.

Kees wasn't aware of the Germain programme. 'My' bird is not from the colony of Texel and is possibly a Germain bird. Thanks to you I restored an error.
