hi nico,

certainly a herring gull, prob. of ssp argentatus. that's what i'd have expected anyway. where is that colony exactly? dresden - hiddensee: near dresden, saxony with hiddensee-rings or is it a locality called "dresden" on the island of hiddensee? well, obviously the former variant, but where exactly?

lou

thank you. interesting, that caspian gulls seem to invade step by step (south-) eastern germany.
