2cy gull near Zürich

Hi everybody

Yesterday, I saw a gull which I couldn't identify. Especially the bill struck me and it seemed a little bit darker than the Yellow-legged Gulls there.

What do you think? Just an abnormal YLG?

hi eric,

i see a fairly typical 2cy YLG with soft toned gerater coverts. strongly tapering tail band, all dark grey mantle, bulbous bill, large head - all fit a nice male mich.

I agree with Lou - nothing really unusual in this Yellow-legged Gull.
