Hi
I would like some responses to this gull that I saw at Løkken in the northern part of Jutland, Denmark on the 11th of October.
I was thinking 1cy michahellis but the bird might better fit an argentatus x cachinnans ?
Comments on the ID are very welcome.
Best wishes, Rune Sø Neergaard

Or pure cachinnans?
Re: 1cy gull from Denmark
Quite heavy underwing markings, would apparently not exclude cachinnans:

I can see Rune´s bird as a cachinnans...

hi rune,
yes, i agree, the whole bird looks good for cachinnans to me as well. quite a darkish one but with that typical tail and inner wing it is allowed to show a marked underwing and striation on head.
cheers,
lou
