Bird 4: I find this hard to judge on a standing bird like this, holding its tail closed. Bird 5: Note that this is a 1st-cycle bird. I do not know what you mean by the "unwanted pattern of the tail feathers" ? Tail looks all dark to me, as far as it can be judged in this position.
