I think that is a Common Gull, but I never seen a bird with this darker breast.

Looks like a first winter Common Gull indeed. I would like to see a side view for this bird....

do you have any side view of this bird?
the bill has a strong gonys and is rel. high for a common gull! underparts coloration variable as pointed out.
