"Common Gull" in Ontario, Canada?

Apologies for a very brief posting.. I'm currently on the road, but am hoping to get some opinions on the gull seen here:

Our annual record committee meeting is this Sunday morning, where we will discuss if we can accept this bird as the 2nd record of Common Gull for the province. I would be keen to get any and all opinions/comments from those with much more experience with this subspecies than we have
--- almost all of the documentation for the record involves these photos.
