Hi!

I photographed these three gulls in south finland during this autumn.
Any comments about these gulls?

1) Could this be caspian or somekind of herring?

2) Could this be somekind of hybrid, e.g. mic x herring?

3) Same situation, e.g. caspian x herring or something else?

What do you think?

Best regards and thank you in advance,
Petteri

1. subad cachinnans
2. michahellis, but somewhat pale in the innerwing
3. kind of michahellis, but not certain

shortly, i'd agree only with 1. being a cachinnans, probably 4cy.
2. looks like a herring gull to me (one of those baltic beasts with darker window and mich-like tail) - gc pattern and tail pattern actually better for tatus imo.
3. looks like a good cachi x tatus hybrid candidate. it has a lot of clear features of both. but it might even be another odd herring gull!
