Could this be Larus thayeri? Saw this individual yesterday in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Dear all

I recieved messages independently from Klaus Malling Olsen and Peter Adriaens that confirmed the identificaton of this gull as a Larus thayeri. This is by far the rarest species I seen from my office wiindow.
Attached is another photo that I took yesterday which shows well the darker upperparts of this thayeri relative to the surrounding glaucoides.
