Viking or "the dark side"....

I would apreciate any comment about this gull. I have no much experience with 2w birds.
It was sighted on 11.12.2013 In NW Spain (We are not in "white" season yet).
It´s a very dark scaled 2w bird and the design of the primaries is a bit odd to me ( Dark feathers and white exposed tips).
All 2w I have seen were much whiter birds.....
Is this a very dark bird or a viking gull ?.
