Hi All,
I would like to share some of my images I took near my hometown Debrecen. I have been visiting the local dump where I photographed gulls on a small pond and later on the dump after getting permission to enter.
I think I will upload the pix of CGs first, being interesting to western gullers.

Gabor, you have an excellent location! Beautiful pictures. Maybe, one day, we will get a section of cachinnans on ORG... Anyone interested in helping?

Hi Mars,
I got in touch with some birdphotographers from other parts of the country and asked them to send some of their images of gulls (especially CGs) to have a more complete set of this species from Hungary. I will upload them here the same way I did before as soon as I get some.
The CG became a regular breeding species not too long ago in Hungary and I was said that even a pair of YLG x CG and a pair of CG x LBBG tried to breed in that particular colony. So it seems that Hungary may have some surprises in the future..

Unfortunately none, as far as I know..I will ask around, though. The colony is located in a protected area which is also a birding hotspot with lots of birders from all over Europe, so using a hide on the breeding island is out of question.
One of the rangers told me that when they went to ring the chicks the hybrid pairs weren't there anymore but prior to this they usually saw them courting and defending their nest sites from a birdwacthing hide a couple hundred meters away.
If time allows I will visit this place this spring to see what is going on there.
