3cy?-herring gull, Faroe Islands

This herring gull was photographed by Silas Olofson in Klaksvik, Faroe Islands on the 3rd of April. 2018. It is most likely a 3rd cy. The contrast between the well developed saddle compared to the very brown coverts is of interest. In a way it is similar to the bird in Fuglafjordur, but unlikley to be the same individual.
