Hi,
Some days ago I found a c-ringed michahellis at my local patch in Sliedrecht, NL. It was a 1cy with a yellow c-ring on the left tarsus. The inscription was: H2J4.
I couldn't find the right project so far. Can anybody help?
I forgot my CF-card, so I had to phone-scope it....

Re: YLG with yellow ring
Yellow ring with 4-digit code starting with the letter H sounds like a bird from Helgoland, Germany, perhaps.
In that case though, it is more likely a Herring Gull (or hybrid)...

Re: YLG with yellow ring
Indeed, Peter. I just received the ringdata from Sönke Martens. He ringed it as a michahellis, but I doubt whether it's a pure micha.
