I had spent 2,5 months in East-Kazakhstan earlier this year (mid-April-end of June) doing fieldwork in the semidesert zone.
Fortunately there was one spot- actually a bridge- where I could get close to gulls and I took the opportunity every time I was around to take pictures of them. It was close to a town called Aktogay, East-Kazakhstan Province.
Since there aren't loads of pictures of large gulls from the area it might be of interest for some of you guys.
Enjoy them!
Gabor
