Here a small sample of the ca 30 micha present yesterday at Westkapelle.
Note the huge variation. Any comments?

That is the power of doing things together!
Great set this is.
Is there a lbbg in the set?

I had my eyes on this one Theo. The timing sets this of as a possible LBBG, not necessarily the many juv. scapulars since there are a few more wirh such scaplars, but the buffish edges and dark overall appearance.

This one:

might suggest LBBG - although the inner primaries could suggest otherwise. The broad tail band - while not the so called typical - would be acceptable for YLG

Among up to ten 1cy's, this was the most advanced one on the beach of Westkapelle today. All scaps are done and nearly half of the coverts.

Re: variation in micha in Holland
Attached is another pic of one of at least two fresh juvenile micha´s present in Malaga harbour. There was at least one late brood in the city, with a barely fledged juv ringed just before my visit. However, this bird looks more like a LBBG to me:

Re: variation in micha in Holland
I agree that Hans recently linked bird looks like a LBBG - perhaps a better match than the one I suggested.
Further sets of michahellis from Spain end of July.
