Dark Herring Gull?

Yesterday I saw this dark individual in Barneveld. It was much darker than all the other birds.

Cracking bird!
Judging from the slow moult it may come from the notrh, although the obvious wear in eg tertials may suggest different...

I think we saw the same bird when we visited the dump? I'll check my pictures when I get home next week.
